I owe most of my success to Shafiq who was my personal trainer in my free 30 minutes personal training session that came with the challenge. I asked him many questions and he answered all of them. He was very helpful. I actually asked him for a program to follow for 8 weeks that involved an upper body workout, lower body work out and abs workout. I would take turns doing the workouts during the week (to allow my body recovery on the rest days). Shafiq also would see me in the gym and correct me if I was doing a workout incorrectly. It was so helpful when the personal trainer shows direction for the person, because that person like myself will know what to do! I’ve never done weights really (Always just cardio, football and bootcamps) and Shafiq really emphasized how important weights are when it comes to losing body fat. It’s all turning body fat into muscle! So that really helped me.
