Every sport has its different needs and focuses. The main aim here is to break it down to its finest elements and start progressively working on it. At the same time this would also assist in preventing future injuries, thus enabling two key factors – Sports Performance & Injury Prevention For instance here’s an example, a soccer player would need to have strength coupled with agility and a very efficient aerobic & anaerobic energy system to rely on. Working on the individual elements first and then tying it in all together would really help their overall performance when that particular player goes to play a game. Pushing the athlete beyond their limits, is a crucial factor to enhance performance in their respective sports. During our Sport Specific training we make sure that this achieved by pushing the athletes really hard in the fine essential components of their sport first before bringing it all together and pushing them once again.
There are many types of conditions which require specific training to assist in their daily lives. Here at Radiance we do our best to help people with special needs by trying to simplify exercises that would benefit them for the long haul, especially when done on a regular basis. We have experience in designing specific exercise programme’s with people with Multiple Sclerosis (inflammatory disease where the nervous system stops communicating with the rest of the body) and Scoliosis (abnormal spinal curvature). No two cases are alike, so quite a significant amount of time will be spend on assessing and planning the programme. In all honesty, the results of this exercise based therapy for these special conditions is intangible and largely based on the patient’s feedback so that adequate adjustments can be made.
